To provide day-to-day production support to improve quality, productivity, ergonomics and safety for the production departments by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create detailed work instructions for manufacturing, based on organizational needs and priorities. This includes information gathering, and creating images for step-by-step instructions dealing with fabrication, assembly, testing, shipping, and other related operations. These should depict the assembly or process sequence of parts and assemblies.
Maintain current work instructions and update documentation as required.
Perform other manufacturing documentation duties when assigned, including ECO coordination activities and manufacturing time studies.
Participate in lean activities, such as Kaizen events, process improvements, and assist in pre-production activities in production areas.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned and required by changing business needs.
Supervision Received
Routine supervision is received. Employee plans and prioritizes most daily activities and tasks within established methods and processes. Work is periodically reviewed prior to completion.
Supervision Exercised
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
One to two years of related experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics.
Basic math skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office products such as Word & Excel is required, as well as ability to create and manipulate digital photographs and CAD images in these applications. Experience with MS Project, Visio and Outlook are plusses. Experience with CAD programs (AutoCAD, Inventor) is preferred but not required.
Ability to document clearly and project manufacturing processes in writing.
Ability to work well with a team as well as independently.
Language Skills
Must be able to communicate well in English, both written and verbal, including technical terminology. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Must be able to analyze data to solve practical problems encountered in manufacturing environment which generally involves variables that are technical and/or procedural in nature.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stoop, stand and walk; use hands to feel or handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Work Environment
Includes both an office setting and factory environment. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the factory work environment is usually loud.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
