We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Permanent Remote Controller for our rapidly growing SaaS company in the Finance industryThis role is a unique opportunity to play an integral part in our financial management and contribute to our overall growth strategyYou will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, financial analysis, compliance, cash management, tax management, and financial systems
Responsibilities:
1Oversee all company accounts and investments, ensuring all financial operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
2Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
3Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.
4Manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts, interpreting and presenting insights to the leadership team.
5Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures, ensuring high levels of integrity and accuracy within our financial operations.
6Conduct regular financial analysis, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to the leadership team.
7Manage and coordinate all taxation affairs and ensure compliance with all necessary tax obligations.
8Work closely with the leadership team to strategize on financial scalability.
9Coordinate the preparation of annual reports, liaise with internal and external auditors for annual audit processes.
10Develop and manage financial systems/models and carry out business modelling and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
1A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldA Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification would be a plus.
2Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the SaaS or Finance industry.
3Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
4Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
5Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and financial analysis.
6Demonstrated experience with cash management, tax management, and financial systems.
7Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
8Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
9Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
10Proficient user of finance software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
11Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
12A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
13Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
14Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
